LAN Design and Build

Maintained LAN ​​

With Maintained LAN, we become your field engineering team. This reactive service is designed to restore failed equipment to a serviceable state. So when you report a component of your LAN as having failed, we’ll send an engineer to restore service within an agreed time – 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Monitored LAN

With Monitored LAN, we become your network operations team. This proactive service sees us monitor your network around the clock from our Network Operations Centre, responding whenever an incident occurs. There are three service elements to Monitored LAN:

1) Remote monitoring – we monitor your network 24/7, proactively responding to incidents.

2) Incident management – we detect failure in your network, inform you, manage its resolution and keep you updated on progress. ​

3) Performance reporting – we record your network’s performance statistics and make these available to you online.

This allows both of us to identify any potential areas for optimisation and to collaborate on implementing network improvements As a part of this service, we take responsibility for dispatching engineers using the Maintained LAN processes, ensuring minimum delay in responding to incidents. 
Managed LAN

With Managed LAN, we become your network team. This is our top-tier service, where we take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of your network.
To achieve a successful delivery, we base our service management processes on ITIL – a widely adopted service management method that helps us to integrate our processes better with yours.

There are three service elements to Managed LAN:

1) Change and configuration management – as your business responds to market dynamics, we translate new requirements into configuration changes and manage these to completion. Single, logical changes (‘soft changes’) are delivered according to change management processes defined and agreed with you. We maintain an ITIL-compliant Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to hold your asset information.

2) Technical assurance – we assign a Technical Account Authority (TAA) to provide your business with technical support. The TAA can advise on configuration and technology, as well as providing hands-on support for complex configurations. ​​

3) Periodic reporting – using performance data collected from your network, we provide you with a quarterly report on your network’s status, highlighting any areas for optimisation.
